Brexit

With Prime Minister May’s decision on 10 December to postpone the UK Parliament vote on the Withdrawal Deal, the “Brexit” process seems to have been thrown into chaos. It is impossible to predict whether the final outcome will be a very hard British exit from the European community or whether some softer solution can be negotiated. We may even see a new referendum, or a general election which could put a left-wing government in power. Much can happen in the coming weeks and months, but whatever the outcome, the UK political climate and the UK-European relationships will change dramatically. The Nordic Capital Markets Forum has put together this seminar with expert speakers to give you an essential understanding of the possible political, economic and legal consequences of Brexit – be it soft or hard.

Confirmed speakers include:

His Excellency, Mr. Dominic Schoeder, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Denmark, British Embassy Copenhagen
Christopher Vallis-Wilson, Head of Regulatory Programmes, C&I Business Development, Danske Bank
Dean A. Turner, Economist, UBS GWM CIO London
Mikkel Fritsch, Partner, Gorrissen Federspiel
Morten Nybom Bethe, Partner, Gorrissen Federspiel
Thomas D. Pettersson, Partner, Mannheimer Swartling
Ole Helmersen, Associate Professor, Copenhagen Business School
