EU Capital Markets Union, Brexit and Bond restructuring and insolvency systems

The EU capital markets union (CMU) is a plan of the European Commission to mobilise non-bank capital in Europe for companies and infrastructure projects, by the creation of a single market for capital by 2019. This seminar will provide an update on CMU project, together with an update on Brexit and how it may affect CMU.

The seminar will also address the importance for bond markets of a well-functioning insolvency and restructuring system, and certain recent changes in the Norwegian insolvency regime.
