Nordic Capital Markets Forum (NCMF) and International Capital Market Association (ICMA) were pleased to invite members to the 2018 Annual Joint Seminar on MiFID II/MiFIR and Primary Markets.
MiFID II/MiFIR came into force on 3 January 2018. The scope of this regulation is exceptionally broad and has presented enormous challenges for fixed income markets. This seminar focused on the implementation and lessons learned so far for both primary and secondary bond markets.
The seminar also included an update on regulatory changes relating to primary markets, including PRIIPs (packaged retail and insurance-based investment products) and the new Prospectus Regulation.
