NCMF Virtual Seminar on 20 October 2020 on: Restructurings in the Nordic markets

Many corporations are currently facing unforeseen challenges causing financial distress. Effective and well-orchestrated restructurings are needed to safeguard  the continuity of business. However, conflicting stakeholder interests and complex inter-creditor issues may put obstacles in the way. In this Nordic Capital Markets Forum’s webinar, expert speakers discuss both legal and financial aspects of debt and equity restructurings in the Nordic markets. The topics cover e.g. legal protection against abuse of holdout positions, how to “play the restructuring game” in advance by contract and managing operational risks. We will also hear topical insights from the restructuring of Norwegian.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Matti Engelberg, Founder at Engelberg & Co, LL.D.
  • Mika Lehtimäki, Researcher, Centre for Banking and Financial Law, NUS and Partner, Attorneys-at-Law TRUST. Ltd
  • Richard Sjøqvist, Partner, Head of Banking and Finance Group, BAHR
  • Anders Thelin, Investment Director, Proventus Capital Management
