With the implementation of MiFID II, new rules on product governance will apply to manufacturers and distributors of investment products. These rules contain significant new requirements to the product approval processes for the affected stakeholders.
The Nordic Capital Markets Forum organised a workshop on the topic together with Partner David Moalem, PhD, Bech-Bruun, and Head of Division Annette Bjaaland Andersen, The Danish FSA, who talked us through the new rules in an interactive workshop discussion on the practical challenges, which these rules entail.
This half-day workshop took place in the morning of Friday 3 March 2017 at the premises of the law firm Bech-Bruun, Langelinie Allé 35, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, Denmark. Registration and breakfast began at 9.00 am CET and the workshop started at 9.30 am CET. The workshop finished at 12.00 noon CET and was followed by a light lunch and networking.
